WHAT IS HEALTH?

Health plays a major role in everyone’s life. Health is not just an absence of any disease, but it is rather the wellbeing of an individual where his physical, mental and psychological wellbeing is good. Today where life is so fast and people pace for their career, often their health is the last priority.

When life’s moving so fast and we got no time to maintain health, what can we do? This is where prioritization comes into play. Prioritizing our well-being first would what help us in achieving the career goals that we want to. so, prioritizing the physical, mental and psychological well-being is what we can do for ourselves and our future. Health is important when it comes to living a longer life. to live long and achieve our career goals, we need to be in good shape.

Make eating proper meals an addiction. Food is the key to be healthy. but even junk is food, but it is not the food that would keep us disease free. There are two types of food- one which avoids diseases and one which causes them. So, choosing the food wisely is important. Customize your food with your favorite ingredients but only the ones that would do justice to your health. And eating on time is what matters more. Eating a proper meal at proper time is the secret to the well-being. But just eating healthy isn’t enough. Exercise is something which if avoided more, the more the need arises to do it. Exercise helps to keep the body in a good shape and avoids any issues related to well-being. Any physical activity that engages 60minutes per day is enough. Exercise is non- negotiable!

What could it be? The million-dollar secret that everyone probably knows but it’s still known as a secret. Even after eating proper meals and exercising regularly what else could be the missing piece? It is sleep! Yes, sleep is the most essential part of well-being. A good sleep can prevent many diseases. sleeping for at least eight hours a day is a must as sleep helps the body and mind rest and conserve energy. Sleeping for eight hours with intervals in daytime is not the sleep that would contribute to your well-being. Sleeping continuously at night is the sleep that you need. Though managing to get a power nap of 20minutes in the noon would be great! So, the more sleep one gets the more life expectancy they would have.
